In September, Richard and Peter will return. We expect to see the installation of at least some of the percussions. This will include getting the percussion units in place, winded and wired. As well, they will be thoroughly going over the organ tuning. Neil is sourcing a new motor for the piano which will sit stage right.

All the organ pipes are now installed, rough tuned and playing.

The ranks of pipes are tuned and playable albeit very "raw". This has allowed us to prove that the organ is capable of reaching the theatre, all the way to the back.
The organ's home is the Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre in Glen Eden, Auckland, New Zealand.
The organ is housed in purpose built chambers at the back of the theatre stage.
The console resides stage left in the orchestra pit.
Thanks to Grants from Lottery Environment and Heritage and the American Theatre Organ Society, we have sufficient funds to complete the Organ installation.

Listen to Peter Hosking playing the Organ.
