The Console
The Organ

We are thrilled to report that installation of our Wurlitzer pipe organ is now well underway.  â€‹â€‹â€‹

We now have SEVEN ranks playing.  They are, Tibia, Solo String, String Celeste, Violin, Diapason, Violin Celeste, Flute.

We have wind trunking running to the Percussion Chamber and to the backstage area, where unclosed percussions will be installed.

The ranks of pipes that are installed were tuned and are now playable albeit very "raw". This has allowed us to prove that the organ is capable of reaching the theatre, all the way to the back.

The organ's new home is the Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre in Glen Eden, Auckland, New Zealand.

The organ is housed in purpose built chambers at the back of the theatre stage.

The console resides stage left in the orchestra pit.

Thanks to recent Grants from Lottery Environment and Heritage and the American Theatre Organ Society, we have sufficient funds to complete the Organ installation.
